Axiomatic runs packaging-defect detection entirely inside the fab, at line speed, with nothing leaving the customer's network. Models are trained and served on-premise, because that's the only version a fab will actually let through the door.

Two hard constraints kill most vision startups here: fabs won't send imagery to the cloud, and inspection has to keep up with the line. Yu-Ting didn't ask the customer to relax either one — she built for both. We like founders who take the constraint as the product.

Yu-Ting built machine-vision systems inside a semiconductor fab, where the rule was simple: the imagery never leaves the building. She started Axiomatic on the bet that everyone else's cloud-first inspection was a non-starter for the customers who mattered.
