Milkeon

The dairy plant runs itself. You decide how far.

Seed 2026 · $1.4M Applied AI London, United Kingdom

Milkeon runs the dairy plant from intake to finished pack: separation and standardisation, pasteurisation and homogenisation, fermentation and culture control, evaporation and spray-drying, inline contamination, foreign-body and seal inspection, CIP and hygiene assurance, yield, energy and water recovery, and an as-processed batch twin that checks a recipe or a sequence before a valve moves.

Dairy is one of the most perishable, energy- and water-intensive processes in food manufacturing, and the process technologists who hold the tacit knowledge are retiring faster than plants can replace them. A standardisation drift becomes a fat give-away, a fermentation miss becomes a texture reject, and a food-safety fault is only found once the batch is made. Daniel and Jason are closing the loop at the separator, the vat and the dryer instead of reporting on it afterwards, and they built the audit trail first, which is what a food plant will actually let near its controls.

The founders

Daniel Cooper

Co-founder & CEO

Daniel runs the company and the commercial side: which dairy plant goes first, what number it is judged on, and who at the plant signs off on the baseline. He started Milkeon because dairies still find a fat give-away or a food-safety miss at the lab, long after the batch that caused it.

Jason Reed

Co-founder & CTO

Jason leads engineering: the plant-edge runtime, the policy engine, the audit architecture, the process and inspection models, and the bounded, audited write-back into separator, pasteuriser and dryer controls. He is why every agent earns its authority in shadow mode first, with an evidence trail behind each action.

How it's gone
  • 2026

    We came in

$1.4M seed to take the first dairy plants from shadow mode to bounded control.

  • 2026

    Where it starts

Yield give-away and food-safety misses first: baselines run against live batches before any agent is given write authority.

  • 2026

    Building the team

Hiring plant-edge perception and OT integration engineers, and people who have run a dairy plant.
