Rosetta translates old COBOL into modern Java and hands over a formal proof that the new program behaves exactly like the old one. So an institution can leave the mainframe without a room full of people hand-checking whether the ledger still adds up.
The people who wrote these systems are retiring, and a single behavioural difference in a core banking ledger is a very bad day. Everyone else offers a careful rewrite and crossed fingers. Wei offers a proof. That's a different product.
