Smelteon
Every casting sound before the metal is poured.
Smelteon runs the foundry loop from charge to finished casting: melt chemistry and furnace control, sand moulding and coremaking, robotic pouring and mould fill, solidification control, AI X-ray, CT and vision defect inspection, and robotic fettling — all tied together by an as-cast digital twin that tests a change before metal is committed.
Casting is one of the last big manufacturing processes still run substantially by feel, and the people who hold that feel are retiring faster than anyone can replace them. A pore nobody can see until the radiograph turns a good-looking part into scrap. Abdul and Malik are closing the loop at the furnace and the ladle instead of reporting on it afterwards, and they built the audit trail first, which is what a foundry will actually let near its controls.

Abdul Basit
Co-founder & CEO
Abdul runs the company and the commercial side: which cell goes first, what number it is judged on, and who at the foundry signs off on the baseline. He started Smelteon because foundries still find porosity at the X-ray, long after the melt, the mould and the pour that caused it.
Malik Tariq
Co-founder & CTO
Malik leads engineering: the factory-edge runtime, the melt, pour and defect models, the as-cast twin, and the bounded, audited write-back into furnace, mould and pour controls. He is why every agent earns its authority in shadow mode first, with an evidence trail behind each action.
